Held Orlando, Florida August 6, 7, 8 at the
Champions Gate Omni Hotel and Resort
The One-of-a-Kind Event of 2009 - an Event to Remember!
The reviews are in-and overwhelmingly positive! Those who attended the August Event expect it to go down in history as the genesis of an explosive new momentum! Don’t miss your chance to catch the tidal wave! Leaders in network marketing often call this is an "event-driven profession." Why is that? Because results come from effective action, and effective action comes from know-how and motivation. Events provide know-how and inspire motivation. Mentioned below are a few of the many highlights of the most exciting event of 2009.

The Red Carpet Night - Truly a night to remember! In a past NewsCast Sharon Tahaney quoted the song by Lee Ann Womack: "When you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance!" Sharon walks her talk!

The Elevated Leadership Award
Based on nominations from the field, the first Elevated Leadership Award was presented to Greg Harrell. Even though he was humbly surprised, Greg gave an inspiring acceptance speech! This Olympian and pro football star is also an articulate public speaker-who knew?

Top Talks by Top Earners
"Secrets" of success were shared by each of the top five Affiliates (in terms of earnings from January to May). Their "Top Talks" provided five different, but complimentary, perspectives. Congratulations to Tom Wood, Scott Reese, Michael Ladd & Marta Ovington, Tom Crabill, and Michael Carnevale! Additional wisdom, tips, and testimonials were shared by other top leaders, including (in alphabetical order) Katie Freiling, Joel Guerin, Buddy & Liz Hodges, David Kelsey, Jerry Kenchel, Scotty Kufus, Jane McCoy, Kellie Olver, and Stephen Theo. The fabulous new PowerPoint Presentation of the GeneWize Opportunity was introduced by Chris Orf. Monte Taylor, CEO, kicked off the Event with a keynote address, reminding us how unique GeneWize is and how fortunate we are to be in the right place at the right time.
New Power Tool Kit
Sharon Tahaney introduced a powerful suite of recruiting tools, including a highly sophisticated but still user-friendly website, a new series of postcards, and an impressive magazine prototype. The plan is to include an assessment (swab) kit in the magazine!
Real Science by Real Scientists
Dr. Bernard Kasten enlightened us about the Genetics Revolution and introduced the new products. Dr. Robert Ricciardi explained the science behind the LifeMap (made exclusively) skin serum. Dr. Donald Cannon inspired our confidence in the Quality Control procedures. Dr. James Simpkins talked about "Outsmarting Your Aging Genes." New Affiliates were amazed at how unassuming and sincerely involved the scientists really are.
Bonding the Affiliate Community - the GeneWize Team!
Events around the Event connected the community and fostered a "Golden Rule" culture. Team building occurred at all levels, but most dramatically at the level of Team GeneWize. New friendships were opened or strengthened, and individual lines of sponsorship seemed secondary to an attitude of "all for one and one for all." Camaraderie was the feeling when Tom Wood spontaneously, on impulse, rented a Stretch Hummer Limo (capacity 18-20) and took over 25 people, including Dr. Kasten and Ken Levine, to the Opa Greek Restaurant, where everyone had great fun. It was a night to remember!

The Flight Connection - an Airmail Buddy System
The culture of teamwork and community was carried on the wings of paper airplanes as Affiliates sent their goals into the air (with their contact information). The creative idea was that whoever received your airplane, regardless of genealogy, would become your "Buddy" and your accountability partner. They would help you reach the goal you wrote on your airplane by the "buddy system," as in workout partner. It was fun and sent a message of synergy (by airmail).
Remember to get back to the person whose airplane you caught - Send them encouragement!
